For nearing a decade now, Troy's Bucket have been Arizona's go-to guys for an intense live show. Mixing their trademark "wall of horns" sound with elements of ska, punk, and even metal, the stories about this band have become legendary in the Southwest. Beginning with the early years, when house parties at the band's "Rumpus Room" would bring hundreds of people crushing into an overflow crowd, the juggernaut has not slowed one bit. The band has shared the stage with many national acts, such as Fishbone, Save Ferris, the Mad Caddies, Smashmouth, Pepper, Motion City Soundtrack, the Phunk Junkees, the Aggrolites, the Forces Of Evil, Agent 51, Allister, Denver Harbor, The Slackers, and even Nappy Roots. This is a band that has had a show canceled by a car crash taking out the power to the club, only to get another club to eagerly take over the show on a moment's notice, and a few hundred fans rush across town to make sure they did not miss out. This is the only band ever to have their show stopped at the Tempe New Year's Block Party, so that security could bring in barricades to control their insane fans. This is a band who played an outdoor show in the howling winter naked. You never know what's going to happen at a Bucket show. You only know you don't want to miss it when it happens.
Hey whats up thanks for the add......just wanted to let you know that I can still take a few orders for October so if you wanna get some shoes done let me know...
So here's the thing: You guys stopped playing for the last... SEVERAL MONTHS that I was in Tucson. And you KNOW how much I love you guys. Or at least I hope you realize I still do even though it's been almost two years since I moved back to Kansas City. If I ever visit, I DEMAND that you be playing a show during that time JUST FOR ME. :) Or not, you know, whatever.
P.S. - Tom, we need to keep in touch more. You are a bonafide BAMF.
hey! i have to admit that its kinda awsome that you actively look for fans most bands are lazy and expect people to listen first then could care less if someone likes their music but thanks for adding me i'll spread the word to my buddies! you guys coming to the south east anytime soon?(no where near the middle east i might add... we wear trucker hats down here... not turbans)
